An Approach to the Psychological Diagnosis of Albert Fish and Jeffrey Dahmer, Notorious Child Molesters

A 24 page paper analyzing the psychology of child molestation. In the more disturbing cases children are not only abused, they are abducted, sexually and otherwise physically abused, and even killed. Two of the more notorious cases of child molestation were committed by the now notorious killers Albert Fish and Jeffrey Dahmer. These killers had a similar tendency for cannibalism of their victims’ bodies as well. While a precise after-the-fact psychological analysis cannot be made of either, this paper delves into the cannibalistic aspect of these crimes in particular and emphasizes the utilization of standardized psychological methodology such as the multi-axial approach of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV) in attempting such a diagnosis. An Argument for a Quick and Unceremonious Execution of Death Penalty Convictions

A 9 page contention that those who are sentenced to death should be quickly and unceremoniously executed. This contention is supported by the facts that the death penalty has been debated ad nauseum and has been upheld in one case after another, that stricter penalties and the application of those penalties are known to reduce crime, and that quick executions are economically more viable as they reduce costs to the criminal justice system and prevent the criminal from further profiting from their crime with book and movie deals and the like.
